Jaime (Jay) Garcia

Jay is a multimedia illustrator, printmaker, and animator located in Hartford, CT; she focuses on making sense of and expressing humanity through her own lens, and her bodies of work tend to center on character design, concept art, and storybuilding. She holds a BFA from the University of Hartford and has displayed her pieces in multiple on-campus art shows throughout her college career. Jay’s work is made recognizable by her trademark gritty, creepy-cute art style and thematic use of zoomorphism and anthropomorphism. She is always on the lookout for multi-artist projects or collaboration opportunities.
